Q. How can I get to Whistler Resort?
A. There are non-stop direct flights to Vancouver International Airport from most major U.S. and International cities. Whistler is approximately 75 miles north of Vancouver and you may rent a car, take a train (leaves only once a day, early morning from North Vancouver) or hop on a frequently scheduled Perimeter Whistler Express Bus.
The drive is one of the most beautiful on earth, winding up scenic Sea to Sky Highway. The views of the ocean and mountains are spectacular. Driving time is approximately 2 hours (5 hours from Seattle)
Q. How do I get around once in Whistler?
A. A car is not necessary as my condo is well situated in Whistler’s pedestrian cobblestoned village. All bars, restaurants, activities are easily accessible by foot and Whistler offers a frequent complimentary shuttle if you are venturing further.
Q. What are the best months to ski?
A. Winter season generally runs November to May. Early and Late seasons offer exceptional deals on lift tickets, my condo, and the resort is quieter. The best snow is January to March. Check out my weather and snow conditions page for links to current conditions.
Q. What about winter activities for non-skiers?
A. Choose from sleigh rides, snowmobiling tours, snowshoeing, ice-skating, paragliding, indoor tennis and squash courts, aerial sight-seeing, fishing, fitness centres, horseback riding, indoor rock climbing, or guided sightseeing tours. And, of course, shopping, dining and spa-hopping!
